BEEF SEEKH KABAB
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger paste
- 2 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint leaves
- 2 tbsp oil
- Metal skewers (about 8-10)
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, add the ground beef, onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, salt, lemon juice, gram flour, fresh coriander leaves, fresh mint leaves, and oil. Mix everything together well and let the mixture marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Soak the metal skewers in water for 15-20 minutes.
3. Take a small portion of the beef mixture and wrap it around a metal skewer, pressing it firmly to form a long and thin kabab. Repeat with the remaining mixture and skewers.
4. Preheat a grill or BBQ to medium-high heat. Once heated, place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes on each side or until the kababs are cooked through and slightly charred.
5. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot with mint chutney and sliced onions.
